Information in enquiries
Forms may contain your name, email address, phone number, event date and type, chosen coverage, location, how you heard about the photographer and your message. Required fields are marked with an asterisk.
This information is needed to respond and discuss the service. Please do not send sensitive personal data or unnecessary information about other people in the free-text fields.
Purposes and legal bases
Enquiries are processed to respond, provide a quotation and take steps at your request before a contract. When a service is commissioned, data is used to deliver it and meet applicable legal obligations.
Technical records may be used for website security and preventing misuse. Where consent is needed for a separate purpose, it is requested separately and can be withdrawn. The form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
How enquiries are sent
Messages are sent to Nikola Ivanov’s business email, with a copy to his Gmail mailbox. Content may be stored in the mailbox and the sending system’s log to verify delivery.
Hosting, email and technical support providers, including MissHosting, Site Mailer and Google, are used to operate the website and communications. I do not sell enquiry data for third-party marketing campaigns.
Retention periods
For enquiries that do not lead to a contract, the previous policy’s retention period of up to 12 months after the last contact applies, unless longer lawful retention is necessary.
Contractual and accounting documents are retained according to applicable statutory periods. Retention for galleries and photographs is agreed separately and is not the same as for contact forms.
Cookies, analytics and video
The website uses technical mechanisms for operation and security and has integrations with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Analytics technologies may process information about visits, devices and browsers. Consent is required for non-essential cookies where applicable.
The video player uses YouTube and loads when a film is opened. The provider may then receive technical information about your device and connection. External platforms have their own privacy policies.
Cookies can also be managed through your browser. Exact analytics retention periods depend on the service’s actual settings; no universal 26-month period is assumed.
Data outside the European Economic Area
Some providers may process data outside the EEA. You can request information about relevant locations and safeguards by emailing the business address. Use of a platform does not in itself mean that every transfer is unconditionally permitted.
Photographs, guests and children
Taking and delivering photographs and films is governed by the service and the rights of the participants. Publication in a portfolio is a separate purpose and does not follow automatically from submitting an enquiry.
Enquiries about photographing children at baptisms and family events should be submitted by a parent or guardian. Children are not asked to complete a contact form themselves.
Your rights

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting previous lawful processing. You may lodge a complaint with the Commission for Personal Data Protection.
Security and changes
Access to enquiries is intended for service delivery and support. Form validation and technical measures are used to reduce misuse.
